Westfield invites Olympic hopefuls to a “girls night out”

Westfield, the Official Shopping Centre of London 2012, invited nine Olympic Hopefuls to a ‘Girls Night Out’ to relax and enjoy all that Westfield have to offer. The pampering evening included a make-over, stylist consultation, gift voucher and hair styling session. Nine of Britain’s highest hopes for the Olympics mingled with each other, discussing their hopes for the summer whilst being given top fashion tips from an experienced stylist.

The invitation was too good to miss for a whole raft of young talent. Guests included Shauna Mullin (Volleyball), Anne Panter (Hockey), Laura Bartlett (Hockey), Christa Cullen (Hockey), Alex Danson (Hockey), Helen Richardson (Hockey), Zoe Smith (Weightlifter), Kate Walsh (Hockey) and Alexandra Rickman (Sailing).

The night allowed the girls to relax and enjoy a little luxury. Petite weightlifter Zoe Smith said: Westfield really treated us this evening. I never have time to just sit and enjoy being pampered, it doesn’t really come with the day job! It was a real treat, the personal stylist was great and I found her advice was really helpful!”

Pitch planned and managed the event for Westfield, resulting in coverage on the world’s biggest news website, Mail Online. Pitch have been brought on by Karen Webb, of Karen Webb Consulting, to handle all Games-related communications for the tier three Olympic sponsor.
