Pitch joins 12,500 runners in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon

On Sunday 9th October Pitch completed a six month project for the Foundation.

Pitch has been working with the Royal Parks Foundation since the ballot launch earlier this year, and helped to secure more than 30 media runners from national, consumer and sports lifestyle press to take part in the prestigious event.

Over 40,000 spectators lined the route on the day of the race, cheering on participants as they made their way around the picturesque route that takes in some on London’s most iconic sites.

Starting and finishing in Hyde Park, the scenic 13.1 mile route winds through four of London’s beautiful Royal Parks (Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park and St James’s Park) and past some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks including Buckingham Palace, The Houses of Parliament, The London Eye and The Royal Albert Hall.

Pitch also helped to secure a number of celebrities, including marathon queen Nell McAndrew, dressed as a forest fairy. She was joined by Sky Sports presenter Charlie Webster, Olympians Adrian Moorhouse and Jonny Searle and soap star Angela Griffin.
