Heineken Hosts Champions League After-party

Stars flock to celebrate UCL Final.

Prince Harry, Ronnie Wood and Mischa Barton were amongst the celebrities in attendance at Heineken’s UEFA Champions League final after-party.

One Marylebone was the dazzling venue for the event, featuring an exclusive screening and post-match entertainment including a special set from guest, Mark Ronson.

Heineken, sponsors of the UEFA Champions League, hosted the invitation only event in association with Quintessentially in celebration of the end of the brilliant 2010-2011 season.

Over the course of the evening guests were treated to hours of stunning entertainment. When the final whistle blew and the giant projector screen was rolled back, there was a live set from The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, stars of Heineken’s award-winning advertisement ‘The Entrance’. DJ’s from Manchester and Barcelona battled it out echoing the excitement on the pitch and Jaguar Skills got the guests up on the dancefloor.

Mark Ronson brought the night to a close in spectacular fashion while celebrities, models and sports stars including Freddie Flintoff and Teddy Sheringham looked on.

Speaking after his set, Ronson commented: “The Heineken after-party had a great atmosphere and you could just tell everyone was up for a really good night after a stunning game of football. The rest of the music was electric and the beer was flowing, definitely an evening to remember.”

Heineken is in its sixth consecutive year of sponsorship of the prestigious Champions League.

The event was a huge success for Pitch’s newly created events team. Julia Rodger, Heineken brand manager UK, said of the party: “It was exclusive and premium, while at the same time providing both football fans and Heineken consumers with an extraordinarily entertaining experience.”
