Last week the Pitch team were in Milan to mark the European joint launch of the new ASICS GEL-SUPER J33 and Muscle Support collection.
Over 140 journalists from across Europe attended the press launch at the fashion capital to celebrate ASICS’ latest offering in technical footwear and apparel.
A radical new entry into the natural running market, the ASICS GEL-SUPER J33 is the first natural running shoe from ASICS designed specifically for overpronators. To accompany this, ASICS’ innovative new Muscle Support technology is the ultimate apparel range designed to stabilise and support runners’ muscles allowing them to get more from their muscles. The performance enhancing gear, new for Spring/Summer ‘14, was developed at the ASICS Research Institute of Sports Science in Kobe, with runners needs at the forefront of the design.
Media attending the launch were treated to a high energy fashion show and guest speakers including renowned running coach Andrew Kastor and 2004 Olympic marathon Champion, Stefano Baldini.
After the formalities, journalists were invited to test out the products with a run around the beautiful Montanelli Park, under the expert guidance from Stefano Baldini and his team.
