ASICS has strengthened its position in rugby through the announcement of its partnership to be official apparel supplier for Stade Français Paris.
The exciting announcement demonstrates ASICS’ commitment to rugby, building on its partnership agreements in place with the South African Rugby Union and Australian Rugby Union, including headline teams, the Springboks and Wallabies.
Stade Français Paris is one of the legendary clubs in European rugby, having been crowned French champions 13 times and a current force in the Top 14. ASICS will become the official apparel supplier from July 2015 and will bring its unique philosophy of research and development to the partnership. In fact, ASICS first partnered with Stade Français Paris back in 1993 and has a strong knowledge of the history and culture of the famous club.
The partnership with Stade Français Paris is another sign of ASICS’ focus on providing the world’s leading rugby teams with innovative apparel focused on performance.
Ahead of the ongoing Autumn International series, ASICS hosted the Springboks for special research and development testing at the ASICS Institute of Sports Science, Kobe, where scientists work to understand how to provide a technical advantage through apparel and footwear developments.
