QBE successful at UK Sponsorship Awards

Pitch client, QBE, was hailed for its superb work in the rugby space yesterday evening, by coming up trumps in the ‘Best Corporate Sponsorship’ category at the annual UK Sponsorship Awards yesterday evening.

Up against J. P. Morgan’s Signature Series, Goldman Sachs’ Life and Death in Pompeii and Herculaneum and RBS’ ESSA Scheme, QBE deservedly emerged victorious for their integrated, 360° sponsorship of the QBE Internationals. QBE’s rugby involvement also draws-in aspects of the QBE Coaching Club (where QBE are supporting 2,015 level two coaches by 2015) and ongoing headline support of the England rugby squad.

Nicholas Mott, QBE Sponsorship Manager said:

“It is great to be recognised by our peers for all the hard work we have put into delivering the 2013 QBE Internationals.  The corporate communications team, along with their suppliers, have worked so hard over the last year and to be awarded with this recognition encourages us all to push even harder and achieve more at this year’s QBE Internationals.”

Pitch Head of Digital, Jake Sargent, said:

“This is a fantastic win for QBE and we’re really pleased to have provided all the digital support in bringing to life a great sponsorship. This is not only recognition of the campaign working across all channels, but also the huge amount of hard work put in by the whole team.”
