Pitch hires Tom Rouse as Creative Director

Pitch Marketing Group, the independent integrated marketing agency, has appointed Tom Rouse as its new Creative Director. Tom, who joins Pitch from Don’t Cry Wolf, will lead the agency’s creative output across PR and integrated clients including BT/EE, Beats by Dre, Sports Direct and ASICS, as well as enhancing the agency’s creative culture.

Award-winning creative director Rouse has more than a decade of experience devising consumer campaigns for brands including HomeAway, Hostelworld, Microsoft, Innocent, Ubisoft and WWF. He’s also an associate lecturer at London College of Communication, a role he will continue to fulfil alongside his role at Pitch.

Off the back of 2021, Pitch’s most successful year to date, with big consumer account wins including Sports Direct and BT, Tom will play a key role in the continued growth of the agency by working closely with Head of PR, Lucy Hutchinson, on the continued development of Pitch’s consumer PR offering.

Tom Rouse, Creative Director at Pitch, said: “Right from the outset I loved Pitch’s laser-focused approach to helping brands reach bigger audiences via their biggest passions, and I look forward to working with the team to bring this positioning to life in the consumer landscape.”

Chris Allen, Managing Director of Pitch Marketing Group, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Tom to the Pitch family. He is not only a brilliant ideas person but he also has the rare ability to nurture creativity, something that was essential for us in a Creative Director. Tom is passionate about our integrated offering, aligned with our business values and shares our vision for the type of work we want to produce. I have no doubt that he will be a great success, taking the work we do for our current clients to the next level and playing a key role in winning new clients.
