Pitch partners with Pelé for Cannes Lions Festival

Pitch, the award-winning marketing agency, is pleased to announce a mouth-watering partnership for the 2016 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Pitch, whose acclaimed ‘Switching Saddles’ campaign is in contention for a coveted Cannes Lions award, will be uniting with France’s finest pâtissier, the renowned Jean-Luc Pelé, to share his deliciously crafted macarons with Cannes Lions delegates in the first pâtisserie partnership of its kind.

As part of this tasty tie-up, Jean-Luc Pelé will be creating a special new Yuzu & Mint flavoured macaron, baked specifically for the creative palates of Cannes Lions festival goers.

Jean-Luc Pelé has been a pâtissier since the age of 24, and has established a reputation as one of the finest in his craft thanks to the elegance, originality and diversity of his creations. He has two flagship pâtisseries in Cannes, and accredited Cannes Lions delegates will be able to redeem a free macaron, courtesy of Pitch, at either boutique from Monday 20th June.

Jean-Luc Pelé said:

“Cannes Lions is a special annual celebration of creativity and it will be pleasure to welcome the creative marketing community to our pâtisseries in Cannes. As part of our partnership with Pitch we are launching a limited-edition Yuzu and Mint flavour macaron. The recipe is innovative, colourful and vibrant, and as with all great creations, it has a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’.

Henry Chappell, CEO of Pitch said:

“We are delighted to be in contention for a Cannes Lions award this year, and even more thrilled to give our industry colleagues in Cannes the opportunity to sample the sweet taste of creativity. Jean-Luc is a creative genius in the kitchen, and I hope festival-goers will find creative inspiration from his delicious Yuzu & Mint flavoured macarons. Like our campaigns, they are definitely very shareable.”
