Pitch appointed by Harlequins as its lead creative agency

Pitch has been appointed by Harlequins Rugby Union as its lead creative agency for match days, responsible for the development of match day marketing assets and advertising.

The search for a new agency was run through Creativebrief and Pitch were hired following a competitive pitch process. Since then Pitch has been working closely with Harlequins, creating and implementing the ‘Bring the Colour’ campaign which spans across print, digital and at-ground assets.

The campaign takes inspiration from the famous Harlequins jersey, with colour being central to their brand identity. A call-to-action for supporters, the ‘Bring the colour’ rallying cry reflects the importance of the Harlequins fan base and local community, and features several of the Harlequins team players in bespoke photography and video content.

“Harlequins is one of the world’s leading Rugby brands and we’re proud to be working with them on this campaign,” said Steve Munachen, creative director at Pitch. “Harlequins supporters are among the most passionate local rugby fans in the world, and the creative reflects the brightness and energy they bring to the team on match day.”

Imogen Gaunt, Director of Communications at Harlequins said

“We’re thrilled to have Pitch on board and the ‘Bring the Colour’ initiative is sure to be another injection of vibrancy at Harlequins, engaging new and existing supporters of our great Club.”
