Pitch help deliver sell out crowd at Twickenham.
Current Guinness Premiership champions London Wasps beat Magners League Champions Leinster 19-12 at Twickenham on Saturday in their Pool Two Heinken Cup match.
The game was moved from Wasps home ground Adams Park to Rugby HQ with Pitch being appointed by London Wasps to promote the game and drive ticket sales.
To generate excitment and awareness, Pitch created the Battle of the Capitals event name and designed the eye catching logo which was displayed all around the stadium and in media in the build up to the game.
Pitch also undertook promotional activity at key sporting events throughout December targeting sports and rugby fans and negotiated a partnership with leading racecourse Kempton Park to drive ticket sales over the important Christmas racing calendar.
With a sell-out and record crowd for a Heineken Cup Group Game, in excess of 34,000, the Battle of the Captials was a great success for the club and the 4 points that Wasps were awarded for their win means that they are in good shape to make the Quarter Finals.
