Rio Ferdinand
In 2006, Pitch worked with England and Manchester Utd footballer Rio Ferdinand on his first venture to establish a media career outside of football.
‘Rio’s World Cup Wind-Up's’, a short hidden camera practical joke show, saw a series of his England teammates getting ‘merk’d’ via a number of hilarious practical jokes.
Pitch ran an extensive media relations campaign around the show, inviting key journalists on various shoots and seeding exclusive behind-the-scene imagery to relevant media outlets. Pitch also placed interviews with Rio across a range of print and broadcast media to promote the show and build his brand outside of football.
