Boris Pomroy has joined Pitch agency as Head of Events.
He joins with immediate effect having spent four years working for Comic Relief. During his time at the internationally renowned charity, he created and delivered one of the most successful event strategies in the charity world. In addition to the award-winning Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile his team have been the driving force behind celebrity challenge events such as The Red Nose Desert Trek, The BT Kilimanjaro Climb and David Walliams’ marathon swim up The Thames.
Pitch’s events division has gone from strength-to-strength since being created a year ago and has already worked for a number of high profile clients, including Heineken, Royal Ascot and Musto. The appointment of Boris will enable to the agency to continue to deliver existing clients with a broader spectrum of services in addition to working on bespoke projects.
Boris’ arrival will see Heidi Truman assume the newly created role of Project Director, Olympics & Major Events at the agency.

Pitch was founded by Henry Chappell in 2002 with the backing of Matthew Freud. Chappell started his career at IMG, the leading sports management group, and is a former Director at Freud Communications. Key Pitch clients include the NBA, Yahoo!, McCain, Skandia, ASICS, Heineken and Channel 4.
