NBA Brings Community Basketball event to London.

In the lead up to the NBA's Europe Live London 2009 showdown between the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz at the O2 Arena, the NBA hosted an open weekend of basketball entertainment, entitled “Take To The Courts.”

Clapham Common basketball courts were “taken over” to encourage Londoners to participate in the weekend’s events, including music, NBA talent appearances (players, legends, dancers, mascots), NBA Jam Van (interactive truck), prizes & giveaways and Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA clinics.

London's very own Luol Deng and a host of NBA legends were joined alongside the Premiership's Jamie O'Hara, Darren Bent and Michael Dawson for a series of action packed NBA entertainment.

NBA Europe Live London 2009 takes place at the O2 Arena on Tuesday 6th October.
