Pitch take to the Course to lead 2009 Glorious Goodwood campaign.
Goodwood, one of Britain’s most picturesque racecourses, has appointed Pitch, the UK’s leading independent sports communications consultancy, to raise awareness of the Glorious Goodwood Horseracing Festival (28 July-1 August).
Pitch has been engaged to increase the level of media exposure the festival receives in key sport and lifestyle media. The agency has also been tasked to help boost the number of race goers attending the Tuesday and Wednesday of the festival.
One key initiative Pitch will undertake is the delivery of Sporting Greats Day on Tuesday 28 July; a day celebrating sporting greatness, attended by top British sports stars. The day will include a lunch for national media hosted by Lord March and Directors of Goodwood, featuring a high profile guest speaker.
